Board Member & Secretary, Gifted Omrad Foundation
I am Mrs. Oluwatoyin Omobolanle Laguda Fakolujo, and I’m proud to serve as a Board Member, Trustee, and Secretary of the Gifted Omrad Foundation. Though I’m now retired, I’ve never stopped believing in the importance of giving back, supporting others, and empowering the next generation to reach their fullest potential.
My journey began at Government Demonstration Primary School (1962–1969), followed by Ideal Modern School and Motailatu College, where my love for learning truly blossomed. I later pursued secretarial studies at Ann Godden Secretarial College in London, England — a period that shaped my professional path and deepened my appreciation for hard work and excellence.
In 1979, I returned to Nigeria and joined Nigerian Airways as a Secretary, where I served diligently until the airline closed down in 2003. Those years taught me valuable lessons about service, teamwork, and leadership. Eventually, I relocated to London with my family, where I now continue to devote my time to community service and mentorship.
Through my work with the Gifted Omrad Foundation, I strive to make a positive impact—encouraging young people to dream boldly, pursue education, and build meaningful lives. Giving back has always been at the heart of who I am, and I remain grateful for every opportunity to serve and uplift others.
