About Us
Gifted Omrad Foundation, an international charity organisation dedicated to making a positive impact on society. As a non-governmental organisation (NGO), we operate independently and voluntarily, free from government control, to serve the community and address various human rights, social, and environmental issues.
Founded by Adebunmi Fakolujo, the Gifted Omrad Foundation has been a beacon of hope since its inception in 2009. Officially registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria with the registration number RC 158144, and in the United Kingdom as Gifted Omrad Limited, trading as Gifted Omrad Foundation with Company Number 14480992, our organisation was regenerated in 2016 to increase public awareness and encourage people to help those around them.
The Birth of Gifted Omrad Foundation
Gifted Omrad Foundation was born out of a deep passion for charity and service. For many years, I volunteered with organisations such as Bexley Youth Centre, Borough Model UK, and in youth and children’s departments within churches. I also supported various charities through donations and fundraising. Giving and serving came naturally to me—but in 2009, everything changed.
During a short trip to Nigeria, I visited my aunty who pastored a church in a local community. She worked closely with the homeless and less privileged, and I felt compelled to join her. What I saw broke my heart: children without essentials, young mothers abandoned, families sleeping on church floors, and untapped potential held back by poverty.
One story in particular moved me deeply – a 14-year-old girl with two children of her own, left homeless after being exploited. Her situation opened my eyes to the suffering around me, and I knew in that moment that my life could never remain the same.
Inspired by John F. Kennedy’s words—“Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”—I returned to the UK restless but determined. Despite being unemployed at the time, I started sending what little I had to support those in need. To my amazement, doors began to open. What started small became the beginning of something bigger: Gifted Omrad Foundation.

Our Mission
From that humble start, Gifted Omrad Foundation has grown into a charity dedicated to empowering and inspiring the next generation. We focus on giving hope to children, youth, and families in disadvantaged communities through support, mentorship, and essential aid.
Even without external funding in our early years, we trusted God’s faithfulness and pressed forward. During the pandemic, a few kind supporters joined us, and together, we’ve been able to make a lasting difference.
